Next Steps 9:45 AM Sundays

If you are new to Freedom Church, or new to faith in Christ, you are invited to our Next Steps group each Sunday at 9:45 AM. We will help you get involved at Freedom Church, and help you discover your spiritual next step. Every Sunday at 9:45 AM in the church Conference Room.

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh[a] and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. - Ephesians 2:1-7 (NIV)

God's Gift To Us

The start of every believer's journey is Salvation. We are all saved by the Grace of God. This happens when we believe and put our trust in Jesus. God loves us. We are his creation and he sent his son Jesus to die for us so that we could be reunited with Him forever. (Eph 2:8-9, Rom 10:9, John 3:14-17)

What is Salvation?
  • The gift of eternal life from God made possible by the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus His Son.
How can I be saved?
  1. Admit that you are sinful and need of forgiveness from God and ask Him to forgive you. (Romans 3:10,23; 5:8; 6:23)
  2. Believe in Jesus as the way to redemption and forgiveness. (John 3:16; 14:6; 1:12)
  3. Submit to Jesus as Lord - the source of strength and direction for you life - and begin to get to know Him. (Romans 10:9; John 17:3; 1 John 2:3)

We'd Love To Talk

If you have made a decision to follow Jesus or would like more information, please, get in touch and let us know.

The bible establishes baptism as an expression and declaration of salvation and clearly instructs new believers to be baptized. (Matt 28:19-20, Acts 8:36-37)

What is Baptism?
  • The physical act of baptism is simply to be submerged in water and then raised back up out of water.
  • Spiritually, this simple act holds a deep and wonderful meaning. It points to the death and resurrection of Christ and symbolizes that the believer is being buried and raised to new life with Christ. (Col 2:12; 1 Pet 3:21; Rom 6:4-11)

Get Connected

One of the best ways toward spiritual growth and is to come alongside fellow believers and share life together. Sunday worship services are important but can't always accommodate strong relationships and the deepest sense of connection and support. This is why we have Groups. The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone. The church was established for believers to grow in relationship and encourage and lift-up one another. (1 Thes 5:10-11)
