If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. Romans 10:9-10 NLT
Jesus died for the sins of the world so that we can live with him forever in heaven. We must receive the gift of salvation God has given through Jesus.
Salvation through Jesus is a gift that cannot be bought or earned. We would be helpless without the gift of grace Jesus has given through His great Love for us.
The first stop on the Romans Road is the realization that everyone has sinned and fallen short of God's glory. There is no one who is righteous or good enough to be saved on their own. We all are in need of a Savior - The Messiah - Jesus The Christ without Him there would be no hope of redemption.
God created the the heavens and the earth and wrote the laws of nature. Above the natural law is God's law - his moral code in which the earth and mankind were created. Through disobedience and sin mankind comes under the judgement of God but through God's grace and the gift of His Son, Jesus, we are saved and restored to right standing in God's order.
