Perry Dissmore has been in full time ministry for over 20 years. He graduated from North Central Bible College with a degree in Pastoral Ministries, and is currently serving as the Family Pastor at Freedom. He is also the Junior Bible Quiz Coordinator for the Assemblies of God West Florida District. He has a passion to teach children about Biblical Truths in creative ways through Bible Adventures. Perry played basketball in college and has turned that passion into a ministry, “Shoot for the Goal,” to raise money for missionaries around the world. He is the former World Record holder for “The Most Basketball Free Throws Made in One Hour.” “Every shot counts. Every person matters.”
Perry is married to Nicole and they have three children.
Discipleship and Administrative Pastor
David Lunsford grew up in a pastor’s home in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. After graduating from Southeastern University with a B.A. in Church Ministries, David served at three other churches as a children’s pastor and as an administrative pastor, as well as a freelance graphic designer, before joining the Freedom Church staff.
David is the Discipleship and Administrative Pastor at Freedom Church, focusing on small groups, church finance, and church administration.
David is married to Renée, and they have five children.
Marco is the son of a missionary family. He spent his entire childhood in the two African nations of Cameroon and Botswana. His parents and sister continue to serve the Lord on the mission field abroad. He attended Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri before transferring to Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida to complete his Bachelor of Science in Practical Ministries. He has served as Youth Pastor in Virginia and now here in Florida. His passion is to see students fall in love with Jesus, know Him and make Him famous.

Worship and Media Pastor
Ben has been leading worship at Freedom, starting in youth group, since he was 15 years old. In 2011, he graduated with a music degree from Florida State University and joined full time as the director of worship and media. Ben has a passion for creating music that helps facilitate a connection with God's heart and a greater understanding of Him. The worship ministry of Freedom seeks to create a vibrant and dynamic culture where gifts and skills are cultivated to give God glory though music, song, and the arts.
Ben is married to Mandy and they have two boys.
Assistant to the Worship Pastor
Holly has grown up at Freedom. She has a degree in Marketing (with a major in Professional Sales) from Florida State University (FSU), and a Certificate in Worship Leading from Seacoast School of Worship (SSOW) in Charleston SC. Holly uses the marketing skills she learned at FSU to help foster a more creative and communicative environment here at Freedom, as well as lead the congregation in worship at our midweek services as a result of the instruction she received at SSOW. She enjoys laughing with friends and family, the outdoors, traveling, trying new things (especially food), and FSU football. Go Noles!
Assistant to the Youth Pastor
Michael has been attending Freedom Church since he was 8 years old. He is currently attending Graduate School at Florida State University and double majoring in Social Science Education and Economics. He is a graduate of the West Florida District School of Ministry and is being credentialed with the Assemblies of God. Michael helps facilitate and plan Youth Ministry Events as well as create discipleship curriculum for future leaders in Access Youth Church. Michael enjoys traveling, hanging out with friends, playing sports, and anything FSU! Michael has been on staff here for two years.
Assistant to the Family Pastor
Carolina Merida was born and raised in Manassas, Virginia. She graduated from inCharacter: A Creative School of Ministry with a Bachelor's Degree of Ministry in Creative Arts Leadership. In 2016, she came on staff at Freedom as an Assistant to the Family Pastor. She loves serving her community and helping people live out their passions and dreams in life. Carolina loves event planning, dogs, exploring, and coffee, but for enjoyment she likes to fix up things and make crafts.
Kids Ministry Intern
Madison is one of the interns with the Adventure Kids Ship. She has worked with kids since she was in middle school and has enjoyed it ever since. She is now in college to study to be a music teacher. She hopes that through working with the kids here, she will gain the skills to not only teach children in the future, but also to be able to show them the love of God through what she says and does. She is glad that she has the chance to help these kids now to have a firm foundation in God, and to help them understand what God wants in their lives.
