Our food pantry exists to serve the families of Leon County in a tangible way. We work directly with Second Harvest of the Big Bend and the USDA to offer a variety of foods to our neighbors in need. We also receive food donations from Trader Joe’s and Panera Bread Company.
Are you in need of food? Here is what you need to know...
Families who live in Leon County may receive one allotment of food per household every four weeks.
The Food Pantry is open every Wednesday from 4:30pm to 6:00pm. Again, each household can receive food once every four weeks. We very rarely run out of food so it is not necessary to come early to get in line. Please note that there are no restrooms available.
No documentation or ID is required. For your first visit, you will need to fill out the form we will provide you with. Our volunteers will help get you signed in, provide you with food, and help you load it in your car.
The pantry is on the the south side of the building. For directions click here.
If you have any other questions please contact us.
Help the Food Pantry.
We are always in need of volunteers on Wednesdays at 4pm to help get the bags ready and also to assist with carrying the food out for our clients. We also need assistance with helping our clients sign in and fill out paperwork.
For ways to be involved please call Linda Salis at 850-386-4924 or reach her by email at email@example.com
Food donations can be brought to the church Monday-Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm. Monetary donations can be given online or in the offering on Sunday mornings. Please designate the gift “food pantry”.
